I swear I heard you, you were louder than the rest
The instant fleeting, and then the sun set to the west
We lost all our meaning, I wonder if you wander too
Our vision so distorted, we've grown contorted from a passing view
And if you swear to me there'll always be some sort of logic
Then I'm content with getting used to us being nostalgic
So please don't ever concern yourself with feeling guilty
A lack of innocence will only leave us more so filthy
The dirty ground needn't muddy from the falling tears
Just pack your burdens, swallow pride, and abandon fears
You'll only blame me for the heartache and the wasted breath
Depart from me, just leave it be, don't worry I'll pick up the mess
The loudest whispers
Become the softest thing you've heard
If you want silence
it's yours, darling, say the word
The fear you harbor, will only become your anchor
Put one foot forward, you'll find the other follows suit.
When you placed your hand in mine. What did you expect to find?
Don't leave with regrets, just leave
Don't leave with regrets, just leave. Leave me be.
And in the end you'll see, you meant everything to me
The loudest whispers
Become the softest thing you've heard
If you want silence
It's yours, darling, say the word.

Discovered this album years ago, been with me for very long time and even tho i'm not in the same place from all those years ago, it still hits me like the first time I heard it. Such a melancholy and nostalgic vibe just wins it to me, love the lyrics as well. Diego CD

Season in Wreckage strike a careful balance between being melodic enough to be "beautiful" but heavy and lyrically honest enough to be raw. courtney sams
